You can use LetzAI from inside AI assistants such as Claude and Claude Code: generate images and videos, edit and upscale, and look through what you have already made, simply by asking. You connect once with your LetzAI login. There is no API key to create or paste, and the assistant never sees your password.
Connect
- In the assistant, add a connector. In Claude: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, and enter
https://mcp.letz.ai/mcp. Or open Add LetzAI to Claude, which fills this in for you; review it and confirm. - Your browser opens LetzAI. Log in if you are asked to.
- You see which app is asking and what it wants to do. Choose, then Approve.
Every time an app is connected, we email you: which app, where it returns, who pays and what it may do. If it was not you, the email tells you how to undo it.
What you are agreeing to
The screen lists up to three permissions. Untick anything you do not want; the app works with whatever you leave ticked.
| Permission | What the app can do |
|---|---|
| View your images, videos and models | Look, not touch. |
| Generate content using your credits | Create images and videos, edit and upscale. This spends credits, exactly as if you had done it yourself. |
| Publish, delete and train models | Change what is public, delete your content, and train models (which also spends credits). Starts unticked: tick it only if you want the app to do these things for you. |
If you belong to an organization, you also choose who pays: you or the organization. That choice stays fixed for the connection. To change it, disconnect and connect again.
Check who is asking
- Under the app's name is a web address. That is where the app's identity really comes from. An app called "Claude" should show
claude.ai. A Verified badge means LetzAI recognises the app. "Not verified by LetzAI" does not mean it is bad, since most apps are not on our list, but do check that the address is the one you expect. - "After you answer, you will return to…" shows where you go next. For an app running on your own computer, such as Claude Code, it is
localhostor127.0.0.1, with a warning. That is normal if you just started connecting an app yourself. If the screen appeared out of nowhere, choose Deny.
See what is connected, and disconnect
Settings → API Keys → Connected apps lists every app you have connected: what it may do, who it bills and when it was last used.
Disconnect takes effect immediately: the app stops working with your account straight away and has to ask again to reconnect.
Changing or resetting your password disconnects every app at once. Reconnect the ones you still want; each one asks you again.
Questions
Does the app get my password? No. You log in on LetzAI; the app receives a key that only does what you approved, and that you can cancel at any time.
I approved less than it asked for and now something does not work. The app may ask again for the extra permission when it needs it. You can say yes then, or no.
It stopped working after a couple of months. Connections left unused for sixty days expire. Connect again.
The app keeps asking me to reconnect. Disconnect it in Settings, then connect once more. If it continues, tell the app's makers; it is usually a fault on their side.
I use an API key today. Do I have to change anything? No. API keys keep working.
I see an app I do not recognise, or got an email about a connection I did not make. Change your password. That disconnects every app at once. Then reconnect the apps you use.
