Overview
The Image Generator creates images from text prompts, reference images, or a combination of both. You can control style, subject, composition, and resolution using the built-in settings — and include personal subjects by tagging a model in your prompt (LetzAI supplies reference images from that model's dataset automatically).
Generate an image from text
The fastest way to create an image:
- Open the Generate tab from the top navigation.
- Type a description of the image you want in the prompt field.
- Choose a model, aspect ratio, and optionally a style.
- Click Generate.
Your images appear in seconds. From there you can download, edit, upscale, animate, or share them.
Choosing a model
LetzAI offers multiple image generation models from leading AI providers. Each model has different strengths:
| Model | Provider | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Nano Banana Pro | State-of-the-art generation with excellent text rendering, multi-turn editing, and professional controls over lighting and composition. The default model. | |
| Nano Banana 2 | Fast and cost-effective generation with up to 4K resolution and Google Search grounding. | |
| Seedream 4.5 | ByteDance | Multi-image consistency, excellent text rendering, and up to 4K resolution. Great for maintaining character identity across images. |
| Flux 2 | Black Forest Labs | High-quality generation with multi-reference image support, improved text rendering, and enhanced photorealism. |
| WAN 2.7 Image Pro | Alibaba | Professional image generation with support for up to 9 reference images and thinking mode for improved quality. |

Generation settings
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Aspect Ratio | Square (1:1), landscape (16:9, 3:2), portrait (9:16, 2:3), and model-specific custom ratios. |
| Number of Images | Generate 1–4 images per prompt. |
| Resolution | Choose from 1K, HD, or 4K depending on the model. Higher resolutions cost more credits. |
Using reference images
You can upload one or more images as visual input to guide the generation. This is useful when you have a specific look, layout, or theme in mind.
- Click the image upload icon in the prompt area.
- Upload or drag an inspiration image.
- Write a prompt describing what you want.
- Click Generate.
Tagging personal models
If you have created a personal model (a dataset of images for a face, product, or style), tag it in your prompt — for example @YourModel — and LetzAI will pass reference images from that dataset to the foundation model you choose. See Models on LetzAI for how automatic reference selection works and tips when results vary.
You can combine tagging with any foundation model in the picker (for example Nano Banana Pro or Flux 2) to get different aesthetics with the same subject.
Prompting tips
- Be specific. Instead of "a dog", try "a golden retriever puppy sitting on a red cushion, soft natural light, shallow depth of field".
- Include visual details. Mention lighting, camera angle, color palette, mood, or art style when they matter.
- Keep it focused. One clear subject per prompt tends to produce stronger results than complex multi-scene descriptions.
- Iterate. Small changes — swapping an adjective, adding a detail — can shift the output significantly. Adjust rather than starting over.
- Explore the community. Browse images on the Explore feed to discover prompts and styles from other creators.
Managing your creations
All generated images are saved automatically to your profile gallery. From any image you can:
- Download it to your device.
- Edit it with the Image Editor (inpaint, outpaint, background removal).
- Upscale it to higher resolution.
- Animate it into a video clip.
- Add to a Board for organization.
- Share it to the community or copy a direct link.
Credit costs
Each generation costs credits based on the model and resolution. For example, Nano Banana Pro costs 80 credits at 1K and 240 credits at 4K, while Nano Banana 2 starts at just 40 credits. Credit costs are shown before you click Generate. Check your current balance in the top navigation bar, and visit Pricing for plan details.
